One Divison...almost completed. LoA Tournment tomorrow. Battle awaits.

After a year...I have 1 Division for the League of Ancients Tournament tomorrow. I'm going to borrow the rest of an army tomorrow.

I still have the other units on order...they left England yesterday, so won't make it for tomorrow's tournament (my first ever Napoleonic one and first wargame one for over a decade).

I still need to get some flags and varnish them, but I can use them on the table now. Q- anyone got a link to 18mm sized English and Portuguese flags for the Peninsula war? Apart from one unit of AB Portuguese, the rest are Stonewall Figures per-painted battalions (I puta too dark Nuln Oil over them). For those like me with bad eye sight and worse painting, they are a god send.

I don't expect to win any battles tomorrow, but I can always follow Napoleons tradition and style and claim victory in the battle reports afterwards.

British Hussars, 95th Rifles, Loyal Lustrian Legion, Portuguese Line Infantry, Scottish Line Infantry and Spanish irregulars.

Light green dry brush

With grass bushes. I made each unit a different combination of grass tuffs.

  1. Oh yes! The wash and basing really makes this army quite handsome!

For flags, I'd suggest Adolfo Ramos:

Very reasonable in price, excellent quality, and fast service.

You can also print your own from Napflag:
